The training facilities are extensive and include the following:

• One fully grassed driving tee measuring 60 x 30 metres and an additional two grass tees including a simulated fairway lie tee which includes a fairway bunker. There is also a pitching tee and target area up to 80 metres so players can develop wedge play.
• A short game pitching and chipping green that includes three different bunkers. This can simulate all lies (uphill, downhill, sideways, flat) and has different grass types and lengths so that varying conditions can be practiced. There are also different sands in the bunkers so if players know that will be competing in a tournament which may have different conditions to what they are use to, they can practice under theses conditions.
• A large undulating putting green, which provides a good variety of putting lies that would be encountered on the course.

The facilities are maintained at close to tournament level condition most of the year. The philosophy of the superintendent is to consider the facility as the 37th hole at Moonah Links.
